Check-in with a photo ID
Under the legislation currently in force in Hungary, from September 1, 2021, all our guests (including minors) must present a photo ID (EU ID card or passport) upon arrival. In the absence of such document, we will not be able to provide accommodation under the current legislation. The documents will be digitally scanned at our reception and, after multiple asymmetric encryptions, stored on the Guest Information Closed Database System (VIZA), the hosting service provider designated by the Government and provided by the Hungarian Tourism Agency, for maximum two years. The data may solely be searched by the police for specific purposes of crime prevention and law enforcement.
